NHS Eye Examinations:
 
 The following groups of people are entitled to an NHS funded eye examination:
 
  1.         Children under the age of 16, or under 19 and in full time education
 
  1.         Adults aged 60 or over
     
  1.         Diabetics
 
  1.         Glaucoma sufferers, and immediate family members over the age of 40
 
  1.          Patients that hold a valid HC2 Certificate
 
  1.         Patients registered blind or partially sighted    
  
  1.         Patients entitled to an NHS complex lens voucher
 
  1.         Prisoner on leave from prison
 
        Patients, and their dependants in receipt of:
 
  1.         Income Support
  2.         Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
  3.         Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
  4.         Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
  5.         Tax Credit, and named on a valid exemption certificate
